2. Fox Hollow Gala

The Inn at Fox Hollow, located at 7755 Jericho Turnpike in Woodbury, hosts its own New Year’s Eve celebration with the Fox Hollow Gala. This party features live music and an open bar complete with an impressive cocktail menu.

Party goers also are treated to a dinner reception with dessert before midnight. Reservations for the $160 person event are required. Couples can book overnight packages for $670 that come complete with tickets to the gala, an overnight stay at the Fox Hollow Inn, and breakfast the next morning.

3. New Year’s Eve Gala at The Inn at East Wind

The Inn at East Wind hosts a New Year’s Eve Gala to which the Long Island public is invited. Located at 5720 Route 25A, this inn brings in DJ Tommy to spin tunes all night long.

Gala guest are treated to five hours of premium bar service along with a dinner buffet, a champagne toast at midnight, and a simulcast broadcast of the ball drop at Times Square. Overnight packages are available for guests who want to spend the night.

4. The Long Island Aquarium Fishes and Wishes New Year’s Eve Party

If you are on the lookout for a family and kid-friendly New Year’s Eve party, you do not want to miss the Long Island Aquarium’s Fishes and Wishes New Year’s Eve Party. This celebration is especially geared toward animal lovers.

The aquarium, located at 431 Main Street in Riverhead, offers a cocktail hour for parents, a buffet dinner and dessert, entertainment, and crafts. Guests also can take part in the meet and greet with one of the aquarium’s penguins.

5. Midnight on Main Street

Hosted by the Patchogue Chamber of Commerce, Midnight on Main Street offers party goers hot food, beverages, music, and dancing. During the festivities, guests can enjoy the Grand Illuminations fireworks show put on by Grucci Fireworks.

Ring in the New Year is an annual celebration hosted by the Garden City Hotel located at 45 7th Street in Garden City. This party has an open bar until 2:00 in the morning.

Guests are also treated to hors d’oeuvres, live music, carving stations, and dessert. Overnight packages are available for people who prefer to stay at the hotel for the night.

7. Crest Hollow Country Club New Year’s Eve Event

The Crest Hollow Country Club at 8325 Jericho Turnpike in Woodbury invites Long Islanders to celebrate the New Year at its annual festivities. This party is a formal event and features a night of hors d’ouevres, a gourmet dinner, a martini bar, and live music.

All of the celebrations during the evening are held on the beautifully manicured lawns of the Crest Hollow Country Club. The event costs $150 per person, and reservations are required.

8. Gatsby’s New Year’s Eve

The Landing at Jones Beach, 2000 Ocean Parkway in Wantagh, hosts this annual Gatsby-themed New Year’s Eve event. Tickets are $150 per person.

The price of admission to the formal Gatsby’s New Year’s Eve brings with it a three-course dinner, live jazz music all night long, and a champagne toast at midnight. Reservations are required several weeks if not more in advance.

9. Majestic Gardens New Year’s Eve Gala

The Majestic Garden New Year’s Eve Gala is hosted every year by The Long Beach Hotel at 405 East Broadway in Long Beach. The cocktail party features hors d’ouevres, food stations, and a champagne toast at midnight. The ball drop from Times Square is broadcast on several projection screens throughout the event.

10. Havanas New Year’s Eve Party

Havanas New Year’s Eve Party is held at The Carlton at 1899 Hempstead Turnpike. Guests are treated to the Havanas private cigar club, music by Johnny Avino, a cocktail dinner, and open bar. Tickets are $135 per person and can be purchased online.
